To set up a Collection for personal ratings use ‘myrating:x’. Existing
collections using ratings have been migrated to use this tag.
You need to use myrating: in Library in place of rating:
Also, if you have installations with 5.0a and 5.0b, there will be a conflict with use of rating: and myrating: in your collections, so you need to update to 5.0b ASAP.

(type:commentary AND myrating:>=4) OR (Series:Preacher's AND myrating:>=3) is my manual correction to get what I originally had before 5.0b. It yields 275 resources. The difference is the community rated resources meeting the rating requirement that are not handled by this 'migration'.

I am too lazy right now to go through all my collections to find the few others that are based on ratings. I knew of this one from beta testing. It didn't migrate too well.
Edit: it did work for a couple of simpler collection rules I easily found:
type:monograph myrating:>=0 -Perseus
myrating:>=0 -Perseus
In these cases 'rating' was changed correctly to 'myrating'. Looks like complex expressions will be the ones to give trouble.

I had to manually change that expression in the beta. So I am 0 for 2 (or 2 for 2, depending on how you look at it).

How do you get mobile download management to work?

Well, to be honest I thought my '5 ways to crash Logos' was a goner.
But yes, let the new count begin!
I already crashed it just turning off the community settings. 30 seconds flat.
Just keeping a nice chipper attitude about Logos reliability.

I am not having problems with crashes. None in beta testing of this release either.
If anyone gets a crash, posting logs is the only way to troubleshoot the problem and help Logos build a better product.

Chuck, I wouldn't worry about it. It crashed on L5-Windows community tags. In any event I re-started and looked to see what it was. Maybe a fender-scratch and no need to call the insurance company. Marked the bumper with #1.
Have a nice Holy Lent (saw your thread).
EDIT: I did test out the 'sense' in NRSV and it works. Then when I checked 'camp' in Deu, the density graph doesn't appear correct (word use relative to book length?). In any event Num shows but not Lev. So probably need to mouse it unlike BWS density graphs.

I accepts the setting (ie when I re-start, it's as desired). The only issue is it crashes.

Logos...excellent job with these updates. I love the fact that the layout name is now visible when the particular layout is open.

DMB, you have a knack for breaking things. You should apply for a job in Logos's testing department. They need people like you who can break it in-house before it gets released to the world.

Went into program settings and told it to turn off community tags. The tags still appear. Waited about 30 seconds. Does the program need to restart? If so, this information needs to be put in the popup coming from the question mark in settings.
The tags pane was already showing at the time.

Again, this all happened in beta together with a similar request to document it. I'm very disappointed that Logos don't hear or communicate. At least you didn't crash.

Here's the log files this morning. I notice it usually takes about 10 seconds for it to 'respond to crash' (meaning it's fully operable in those 10 seconds, before the software is de-contrasted). Also if it'd help diagnosis, this morning's crash was with a clean layout. Last night it was with a library embedded in the top window of a 5 window layout. In the latter, you could see it resetting the library, with the crash after that.
EDIT: (removed discussion on control-click on taskbar Logos that didn't work; too flaky to reliably repeat). But I did notice (and please don't fix) that the little trick of putting a dummy argument in the Logos icon to generate a blank layout does just that (and ignores the Logos setting, which IS GOOD). However it then shows the most recent layout name in the title (which is NOT the desired Settings option), and also shows it loaded in 'Layouts' (which of course it is not). Kind of gives a clue on the programming sequence. But anyone using this little 'trick' needs to be careful, since like the panel coordination in another still-remaining Logos4 bug, the Logos5 software doesn't actually check to see what was loaded.

Goodness, the new Layout changes (Layout panel) vs the startup is positively dangerous. I'm not trying to be critical or snobby; it just needs some review of the program flow.
The identification of the layout (title/layout panel) needs to make sure the layout was actually loaded.
Right now, a saved icon from the Users/<account>/AppData/Local/Logos4 (meaning a clean icon) will load up my Logos5, no layout showing, but the title shows a layout name (my big one) and opening the Layout panel shows the big layout in use (even though it's a blank layout being used). In my settings, the open layout is set to 'Home' even though it thinks it has loaded my big-boy layout. And the opening doesn't open to 'Home' anyway; not sure about 'that' bug.
Bottom line is to be very careful updating the layouts. In my case it's pretty obvious: a blank layout vs a 5-window layout. But other people might have layouts with very minor differences.
I know it's against Logos policy, but I really wish users could 'save to disk' since at the moment I've no confidence concerning the viability of my large 90 resource layout. I suspect it's going to bite the dust soon enough.
