Deleting Mobile Favorite Delay
In the Logos for iPhone/iPad application version which is the currently most recent version as of this writing 3.2.3 (3.2.3.2022), I am wondering if there is anything that can be done to increase the speed of deleting a mobile favorite. Delays began upon update to the current version.
Confirmed on both iPhone and iPad devices. iOS version on both devices is still on 5 (I have not upgraded to 6).
Thanks!
Chris

I just tried deleting a favorite and it took a tenth of a second. Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing: Under the "tools" menu; "favorites" and "mobile favorites," press and hold the favorite… a "delete" button pops up. Is this what you are talking about? How long is it taking?
If I described the issue properly, I would suggest deleting and reinstalling the app. NOTE: you will have to redownload your downloaded resources & note files.

Graham - I see that you were faster than me today. [:)]
Good catch on remembering Mark's post. I had forgotten about that. It appears that he has as well. [:)]

Is it a big deal to delete and reinstall the app? I am fairly certain that a reinstall will fix this issue. If for some reason this isn't convenient, you can wait to hear back from Logos.

Hi Chris
I've just tried this on my iPad and there doesn't seem to be a noticeable delay.
What sort of delay times are you seeing?
There was a report of something like this sometime ago - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/66882.aspx - but I don't know if there was ever a clear explanation for it.

Thanks all for the responses...
I just ran a timer on a deletion from iPhone 3GS and it took 1 minute and 25 seconds.
Repeated process again and timing about the same.
iPad 3 deletion: 12 seconds.
Both running iOS 5.
Hope that helps.
Thanks!
Chris
