Timing of Slides with MP3 Songs

Hi, I belong to a small start-up ministry, evidently they don't have a band, so we depend on our Sound Desk and Windows Software. To date we have been using PowerPoint with a timer, however often there is a slag and the slides are no longer synced with MP3 song.

The Question I have is: Can one setup Paise and Worship Songs for a service, with each slide running on its own timer whilst playing the MP3 Songs?

Proclaim has the ability to synchronize MP3 audio to each section or slide (or both) of a presentation. Certain slide types can be set to advance on a timer, such as Content and Image Slideshow items, but not all slide types have that feature.

How do you change the timing that is set for a song? One slide is moving to the next too soon.

Song slides advance automatically based on the length of the lyrics on each slide.

If you want finer-grained control over the length of each slide you could use Content slides instead, which do allow you to set the advancement speed.

Hunter - What do you mean by content slides? I'm inputting the lyrics manually for a song. It saves and I'm just adding the same song to the end of the presentation. [:D]

If you select Add Item from the top menu you are presented with number of slide types you can add to the presentation.

One of these slide types is called a "Content" slide which has the option of setting exactly how long the slide is on-screen. Song Slides don't have that option, though they do have the ability to search for and import songs from CCLI/SongSelect directly.

We need an option to group slides running in this manner with mp3s. If you want to reuse an mp3-song/content slide you have to add every slide one at a time in the correct order. With a group option it would be possible to add all slides in the song at the same time as when you add and reuse songslide with several verses.
