New version of Proclaim (.0739) not fully syncing

After updating to the latest revision Proclaim repeatedly pops up a message "Some of the required content failed to download, please click to try again". However, in this new version it doesn't download any of the content that was partially downloaded previously, leaving us with a host of blank slides, or semi-downloaded images.

In previous versions just mashing the sync icon would eventually sync all the content, but not anymore. This morning we have been just left with a host of blank slides instead.

Its turning into a fairly big problem for us, are there any solutions on the horizon?

Hi Travis, I thought that I had uploaded the log file with the original post, but it doesnt seem to be there.

I should probably note that all the files are actually on the server, as they are visible via the tablet/phone apps, and we were eventually able to get a Windows version to sync properly, but on the two MacBook Pros and a Mac Pro they were all missing slides. Interestingly not the same slides each time, which leads me to think that its probably an unhandled exception at download time (there are POST exceptions in the log too) which is leading to the file being missing on the local machine.

Happy to do some further blackbox testing, but ill leave it for a bit until you have had a look at the log.

It looks like your download requests are timing out. What does your network connection speed look like? Fast? Slow?

When a download request times out we fall back to a default blank background. Clicking the sync icon should resolve the issue with one caveat - The version prior to 745 (shipped yesterday) had a bug which cached the thumbnails generated using the fallback. Therefore when your download eventually succeeded the thumbnails would still be blank, until you edited them.

If you're running the latest version these issues should all be resolved.

Download speeds are good, the tablets on the same network were able to download the presentation fine. It was just machines with version 739. Ill make sure the laptops at church are updated to 745 before Sunday and will see how it goes.
