Slide Advance Behaviour Change?

Has the expected behaviour for pressing the right keyboard key changed? When I click on a song on the left hand pane I used to be able to right toggle through the song verses to the next song and so on. Now when I click on a song on the left pane and press the right keyboard button it skips all of the verses/chourses and advances directly to the next song.

However, if I choose a song and click the right arrow in the preview area then I can use the keyboard buttons to advance through all of the songs slide-by-slide.

Is this expected or a bug? If expected, why the change? Why wouldn't the default behaviour just be to advance through the slides? Using the up/down arrows to change between songs would make more sense...left/right to change slides...up/down to change songs.

ok, I see it now in the change logs...sigh...

"Adding" support for the OoS pane is really a significant change to the default behaviour for slide changing. I expect that many people use right and left arrows to advance slides.

Any thoughts on up/down changing the OoS panel and right/left changing slides. This seems to be much more intuitive and make the best use of the arrows. Right now I have to click back and forth between the OoS panel and the preview box to get the use of the arrow keys. Up/Down + Left/Right are redundant and perform the same function. Why not take advantage of both?
