Slides of songs are randomly changing to greyish-black and in the preview tray at the bottom. When this happens the background image for that slide is still displayed on the live screen but no lyrics/content is present. Not all of the verses in a song will necessarily disappear, somtimes it's only a verse ot two and the rest still display. Syncing still works which suggests that the connection to the internet isn't a problem.
Customizing the song and changing something small will sometimes bring everything back but sometimes not. Closing Proclaim and restarting seems to solve the problem every time but isn't always an option. Last week this happened in the middle of the singing and we had no way to fix it...just sat there and looked like fools until we got to the next song.
I like proclaim but reliability has been an ongoing issue for us. A few months back we couldn't get the server to sync for the morning meeting. Once before that the program got corrupted somehow and we couldn't redownload and sync up before the service started. Issues are generally solvable given enough time but that just doesn't fly when the problem crops up during the 20 minutes I need it to work.
I'd appreciate any suggestions on solving this problem. Running version 1.9 (1.09.0.0749).
