BUG 5.1 RC3: Layout shortcuts not working properly
From Logos 5.1 toolbar shortcuts to layouts flakey (I can reproduce 1, but so far not 2):
1) Hovering over a Layout shortcut doesn't give any tooltip. This used to work.
2) Right-clicking on a Layout shortcut doesn't always result in the menu showing up.

Both these work fine on Windows (at least on my PC).
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

+1 [Y] confirmed that 5.1 RC3 on OS X 10.8.4 does not have tooltip for layout shortcuts, but does have tooltips for other shortcuts:

Personally wish for option to turn off mouse gestures since experienced Logos 5.1 RC 3 hang trying to go back for a mouse gesture while right clicking many shortcuts.

Can you please clarify what you mean when you say that the 'menu is not showing up'? Are you talking about the Layouts menu or the shortcuts menu which appears when you right-click on the Layouts shortcut icon?

Like I said I couldn't reproduce that one, but was only the messenger. I took him to mean the right-click menu where you choose the icon for the shortcut.

If right click has opened a shortcut menu for a layout, then right click on a different layout shortcut, the shortcut menu may or may not appear.

Just to make sure you're aware: this is broken, not only for 'normal' Layout shortcuts, but also for ones made from the tiny 'Layout tools' at the top left of the dropdown. The ones that rearrange layouts.
(And for a short while some minutes ago I couldn't get a tooltip from a BWS shortcut either, but that came back after clicking around a bit.)
