- What versions of software are you running on laptop and tablet?
- Do you see any notes on the tablet at all?
- if you create a note on the tablet does it appear on the laptop?
By design every time there is a change on the Logos app for Android (on your Kindle) they should sync with the Logos servers. When you open the app on your desktop it should sync those things. You see this in the little arrows spinning in the upper right corner next to the Layouts button. When they finish spinning all the syncing should be complete. If that's not happing it's a problem and you should look into it with support or maybe they will help here, but that's less certain.

Hi Diane - and welcome to the forums
I don't have a kindle, but an android tablet and I can't find my notes. How does one sync the tablet with the laptop so the notes appear on the tablet app.
Assuming you are using the same account to log in on the tablet and your laptop notes should sync automatically in both directions.
you can't, currently, see the notes document on the tablet but icons representing notes should appear in the appropriate place in resources on your tablet.
Can you provide a little more detail?
Thanks, Graham
What version of Logos 4?
were the notes created using "add note" in the notes file on the laptop or by right-clicking on a passage and adding a note from there?
I haven't checked recently but the first approach used to produce the results you are seeing, and may still do today.
what version of the android app do you have?
It does, I called customer service and talked with some there for quiet awhile and she had someone look into this problem. I was told that they thought I had found a bug and they would get back to me with the fix. The note folders show up but are empty.
i can't found the thread at the moment but I am sure this was discussed some time ago.
i thought, but could be wrong, that this was a known limitation.
it will be interesting to see what customer service come up with.

android app 2.4.7.2 build 108
everything is the latest you can get
Hi Diane,
The latest stable release of the Android app is 2.4.9 - http://downloads.logos.com/Android/Logos/stable/index.html . I'm not sure why an update notification hasn't yet appeared on your Kindle to let you know about the new version.
On you Desktop computer I recommend you do a free upgrade to Logos 5 - http://www.logos.com/installation - and then let us know if the sync problem still exists.

Mine is also at 2.4.7.2.
I have just been into the PlayStore and am not told that there is an upgrade available.
I haven't used the link you referenced for now (thanks for that) pending seeing if there is any further information which would be useful to understand why this isn't being flagged.

Isn't what Diane describing how things work at the moment? (Although I agree that an update to Logos 5 is always a good plan[:)])
She is creating notes using the "Add note" function in a notesfile. This means that the notes are not tied to a particular selection or passage and so they won't show up in the resource.
As we can't currently see notesfile documents within the Android app there is no way that she can see these notes on her tablet.
So, if I am correct, it isn't that there is a sync problem in her setup but that this is how the app currently works.
If I am totally missing the point, please advise[:)]
