The Biblical Illustrator - 65 books of the Bible (35 Volumes)

Good Afternoon:

I have begun re-tagging all of the files with Bible milestones, based on what we've learned from the issues we've discussed. I have created new folders for them (the old ones had a specific date; might be confusing.  I put a ReadMe with links in the old folders and deleted the docs). The new folders are:

It's possible that I'll complete them all today, Lord willing. (At Romans now.)

Two possible remaining compile issues:  1. Extreme font size - part of fixing how the bible milestone headings interact with the following paragraph involved a macro which inserted an additional paragraph. I used a very small font size for the paragraph in an attempt to disrupt the formatting as little as possible. Interestingly, this warning appears only on about 20% of the compiles. 2. Duplicate consecutive Bible milestones - because they're in the text that way. I don't think there is any functional penalty for this, so I didn't worry about it. Individual users can fix if desired.

There are two sets because some might want the files without the page milestones, since they are purely arbitrary (but not capricious [:D] ), based on Word pagination, and have no meaning in relation to the original published works. They might however be useful relative to the individual user and they facilitate the Read Aloud feature.

When I'm finished, I'll put a complete zip file in each folder to make downloading the whole thing simpler.

EDIT: For readers who haven't been following the thread(s), you won't see anything for Acts, as that is part of something that Logos already sells.

I did a search on my Personal Books looking, per this thread, for the word "modem" as a popular scanning typo. A number of the Biblical Illustrator resources have this typo, "Modem" should be replaced by "Modern".

I have updated my copies, in deference to the authors would you like me to upload or provide a link to my zip or do you want to make the changes to your copies that are hosted?

Question: what are the advantages & disadvantages of making individual books from these files versus compiling all of these files into one book? Thanks.

Good question. I notice that many of these types of actual Logos resources are split into volumes. Maybe passage guide and search results can be more precise.

I had compiled Gill's commentaries that I had tagged as separate resources. Then, a gentleman last week posted Gill in one large volume (and his is formatted nicer than mine). I have them both compiled, so I'll observe how each work in relation to the other.

Yes, it is correct.  I personally eventually built Biblical illustrator this way.
