BUG: Logos iOS app - Mobile Favorite icon broken in vertical split screen

I emailed Logos Support with this 66 days ago, and despite promises that it would be fixed in the Logos iOS 3.3.1 update, the bug still existed in 3.3.1, 3.3.2, etc., and still in 3.4.0. Perhaps someone monitoring the forums can succeed in getting this fixed.

In the iOS app, the Mobile Favorite icon (the little star) is broken (doesn't respond to touches) on the left split window when in vertical split screen mode (holding the iPad landscape mode). This only stopped working after the 3.3.0 update on 2013-05-22. Version 3.2.4 works fine.

Here are steps I used to reproduce on two different iPad 3's and one iPad 2:
- Load NKJV
- At the bottom, drag the gray semi-circle to middle of screen to split screen, and set other view to Thailand Bible Society bible. (Touch and hold gray semi-circle to turn on "Sync panels".)
- Add a favorite (e.g. tap a scripture, tap the Share icon, tap the "Add to Favorites" button).
- Try to view favorites by clicking the Favorites (star) icon in the left split window … nothing happens.

Important notes:
- This only seems to be broken in split screen mode.
- The bug DOESN'T happen on the first run of 3.4.0. After I loaded 3.4.0, the bug didn't appear until the second time the app was run. (In other words, if a developer is using XCode iOS simulator, they may not be able to reproduce the problem unless they can close and restart the app without closing the simulation.)

To put the effect of this bug in perspective: I use the split screen to display bilingual English/Thai Bible verses when preaching/teaching in Thailand. I use the Favorites to quickly jump through all references in my sermons. Not being able to use the Favorites icon was such a disruption to the flow of the services that I have been forced to revert to Logos iOS 3.2.4 until this bug is fixed. It has been over two months since I first reported the problem, so some timely help would be appreciated. (And if it matters, I have been a Logos user since the old Windows 16-bit v1.6, then Libronix v3, Logos v4, and now Logos v5.) I realize this bug probably affects very few users, but geesh guys ... over two months? Really?!?
