Please, could you provide a more detailed documentation about videos on Proclaim?Wich codecs Proclaim can play?
Im trying to get video work on Proclaim, but it doesnt.I uploaded one video .mp4 using h264 codec. No use.The video dont play.
Proclaim doesn't have any kind of video processing codecs at all. Instead, Proclaim uses the basic media player for the computer (Windows Media Player for PC and Quicktime for Mac) to play video.
If a video plays in WMP or Quicktime on that computer it should play in Proclaim.
Were you trying to upload your videos or play them locally?
Ive uploaded. The video was about 1MB, then i cant believe it was something about the file size.
I've also had issues with .mp4 and .mov video files. Sometimes they will work, sometimes they will pause every few seconds. Even local files will sometimes pause and start back. They play fine in Windows Media Player.
I also would like to chime in on this thread. We recently installed Proclaim on our computer for our kids program. We can't play videos (either local or sync'ed) through Proclaim. The video files will pay fine outside of Proclaim in a couple different media players....even in Media Shout or powerpoint.
I have tried avi, wmv, mp4, mpg. All will not work in Proclaim but work elsewhere.
Also, if I use the video backgrounds provided by the media library with Proclaim, the video backgrounds don't animate. They act as if they are a still image.
Any ideas?
Just to echo - I have spent countless hours trying to get videos to work, and I have had nominal success. I create our own worship countdown videos, and have only gotten 1 of them to work, and that was after really dropping the quality!
