Lutheran Book suggestion: Aulen's "Christus Victor"
Gabe,
I really enjoy the increase in Lutheran works (especially in CP) - it seems you have a good working relationship with some of the Lutheran publishing houses by now.
You sure know that Gustaf Aulen was a Lutheran bishop, thus I assume his works now fall into your area. He wrote a large systematic theology "The Faith of the Christian Church" (published by Augsburg) which I would be interested in. However, his most influential work - he basically invented the structure for the discussion of various models of the atonement - is of course "Christus Victor" (publishers SPCK or Wipf & Stock or Macmillan). See a write-up here.
Please, please, please....

I actually requested both of these books several weeks ago. I'm hoping they show up on Pre-Pub in the next few weeks, barring any rights issues.

Please make sure to spell his name correctly. It's Aulén, not Aulen.[:)]
(And for those of you who've followed me a while by now: yes, that actually is an accent, unlike å, ä, and ö, which are separate letters.[:)] We don't usually use accents in Swedish, but they do occur on some names ending on -én.)
