Place Order button on cart screen is not functional for me

When I add a Vyrso book to the cart using Firefox on my Samsung Galaxy Note 1, and then try to press the big green Place Order button at the bottom of the cart page, it doesn't press.

I can work around the issue by requesting desktop mode (through the menu), which gives me the same cart page as used on a PC, and then the smaller green Place Order button is pressable.

Not a big deal: just thought someone might like to know.

Firefox 23.0 (with Adblock Plus 2.3.2) on Android 4.1.2.

    Hi Allen,

    Thank you for your report.

I have been looking into this for a bit and have so far not been able to get the Place Order button to fail. I don't currently have access to a Galaxy Note, but I did try it on four different Android devices using Firefox 24.

If you are interested in continuing to help us track down what may have gone wrong, any of the following steps may be helpful. Just let me know what steps you've taken and their results by replying in this thread so I can follow up.

    • Is the problem still happening? You can order one of over 40 free books at no charge, just search for price:0.
    • When you tap the button and it doesn't press, would you check whether Firefox shows the blue loading circle spinning?
    • Does zooming in on the button (until it is very large) before tapping it make any difference?
    • Could you temporarily disable Adblock Plus and try again?
    • Firefox 24 is the latest version. If you are up for it, install the new version and see if that changes anything.

I appreciate your taking the time to report this issue and assist us in attempting to determine its cause.

    Erik

Thanks, Erik. This is not a big issue, as I do have a workaround (desktop view).

I did update to Firefox 24 yesterday, and the behavior is different now. Previously I did not get the spinning circle (indicating it's waiting for a response), but now I do. Will let you know if I find anything further from your other steps.

    Thanks

    Hi Allen,

I'll be happy to continue the investigation if you elect to respond with more information--I'll be notified that you did. In the meantime I hope that you enjoy the book you ordered, and also that you get a chance to take advantage of some of the free books I mentioned in my previous post.
