Proclaim freezing during service

Background:

Sunday's presentation running on new Mac Mini i7.

Synching using wireless hotspot as church does not have internet services due to being in warehouse.

Issue:

During songs, the lyrics will freeze.

This seems to happen when the program is synching. Since the hotspot is not totally dependable for Internet services, is there a way to turn off Synching to keep system from freezing during service? This is very disruptive to our worship service as this effect our congregation and worship team as they are using the confidence screen. Help!!!

Hi Todd

Once the presentation is complete on the church main computer there is no need to sync.

If you are making changes to the presentation on the fly then these will be made to the version on that computer and syncing can be left to after the service.

Try not connecting to WIFi once the service is prepared.

So....You are saying to turn off the Wi-Fi on the MAC, and Proclaim will not try to sync?

Does the Proclaim app recognize that no internet is available, then stops trying to sync?

Seems like even if we turned off the Wi-FI on the MAC, Proclaim was still trying to sync

Even simpler than that Todd - all I do is make sure that the computer is synced with the presentation prior to taking it to church.

When I get there I just plug it in - open it up - run the service.

As far as I am aware there is no attempt to sync until I get back home.
