Joe, me too! I'm writing to gripe!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, we shouldn't complain, but.... my email arrived late too. Now the header said it was sent at 10am, but I know that's not the case because it didn't arrived until after 8:30pm, which is the time my last message arrived before the freebie offer.

This so-called one day offer actually lasted for just a few hours.

I don't recall that there ever was a time frame on this. This would not be the first free offer that didn't last for a full day. Some last for a long time but others only for hours.

They want to keep us guessing and checking the website often and, more importantly from Logos' perspective, hopefully purchase more.

It isn't really a game, and I'm not sure how long this offer was extended. I knew about it by 1 PM eastern. FWIW, most of these are publisher offers. I'm sure amazon has hundreds of employees who take care of things like this. Let's just say that the Vyrso team is considerably smaller. [:P]

I'm not sure what email you are talking about... But like I said, I knew about the deal before 1 PM EST. The offer was still around when I went to bed.

EDIT: I reread your first post. If the original time stamp was 10 AM, then that is when it was sent. Just because it wasn't delivered until 8:00 PM, doesn't mean that it wasn't sent much earlier. You might have had problems on your side... (I have been having problems with my primary email account for a couple of days... I think the provider may have changed spam settings... In any case, the late delivery might have been on your side).

I know that David C Cook, one publisher I work with, has their offers live for 48 hours. This is not a guarantee that they are available on Vyrso for 24 hours. I expect that there would be some delay from the time it was offered by the publisher and when it was vetted and made available via Vyrso.

The offers available from David C Cook are linked to nine different e-book sites - but not all of them offer the book, or offer it at the same time as the publisher originally posts it.
