Running a full screen sermon video in 1080P

Question 1: what are the machine requirements for embedding a 30minute 1080P (maybe 2GB) video and displaying it cleanly?

Question 2: Since this is a cloud based presentation, is there a way to display the presentation if not connected to the internet? Is there a local copy of the presentation, such that you can sync it to the latest online, then take the computer to a place without internet, or at least without really fast internet, and still display the presentation and a large video? And as a follow up, what are the internet requirements for the "follow presentation" function, and is it possible to do it via a LAN (wireless)?

Question 3: is there a way to demo this, so that I could even test the "on air" functionality and see if the videos we currently use will display properly on the second monitor?

Question 4: Is there any way to import information from current presentation software? (We're using Song Show Plus, as an example)

Background - We have been recording the message at our main site, editing and making a video for use at our satellites the following week. The current software we use is problematic in that it seems to need a really high end graphics card to be able to play the video on the display machine.

I am a practical user of Proclaim so can speak from experience and answer some of your questions.

My Mac Book Air plays stuff with no problem. I think that there is a size limitation on what can be synced over the air but none on what can be played providing it is already on the presentation computer.

Once a presentation has been placed on the presentation computer either by syncing or by building it in situ there is no need for a internet connection at all providing you do not want signals or a wireless based remote.

When you do take the presentation computer to a place where internet is available you can sync to the latest edition of your presentation.

I don't think that a wireless LAN will allow 'follow presentation'.

Absolutely - just download the program and test away. The 'on air' screens will be watermarked but there are no restrictions on what you can test or experiment with.

Not that I know of. But this is not so much of a problem as might first be thought. Proclaim allows quick entry of songs via 'Song Select'. As a beginner I used to try and find lots of 'beautiful' backgrounds for my song words. That was until I heard some people who talking who had spent the time singing the words in auto-pilot as they tried to work out where the picture had been taken. I now stick to a plain graduated blue background for hymns and a purple one for scripture. It all goes for better readability and better focus on the actual words.

As I wrote at the top - I build a presentation - Hymns - Videos - Scripture on my MacBook Air at home and cart it to the church (no internet) and use it most weeks. I eschew the option of integrating Keynote slides finding it more satisfactory to use spaces to flick between the two programs.
