BUG: search fails to show exact match

Search for Adam didn't give me Adam.

    MJ,

When I looked up the Reading List on topics.logos.com, I found that the document didn't contain the keyword for section "Reading List" - I put it in, and now Adam (Person) shows up in the search hits under the top ten.

This is better than nothing, but still is much less than desirable, since RL search seems to list all topic pages with a text search hit - in alphabetical order! Adam thus isn't number one, but luckily his name starts with A and the second letter is early in the alphabet.... This means that e.g. Mary (which is a direct hit, too) will be found, but only on the third page...

I know there was a thread where Logos (Bradley?) confirmed they are aware of RL search being less than desirable and they want to do something about it sometime, but I don't really recall whether they did or what importance this topic has for them - given that RLs are linked from the home page, I wonder how much leeway this has at all!

Maybe if you edit your thread title to include "Reading List" it will help Logos to find the existing case (hopefully not yet closed) and update it. Then again, this thread may get more traction if people think we are discussing Basic Search...

    Pushing this up again:

Searching the Reading Lists needs to be fixed. I thought there even was an open acknowledgement of this, but could only find info on a closed issue - but afaik this is no regression. Lynden brought this up (his example is 'angel') in another forum at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/77192.aspx
