Copying multiple slides into a new presentation

Hi:

I guess I have two questions that I haven't seen addressed in the blog:

1. Is there were a way to copy multiple slides from one presentation into another presentation? Adding each one separately is time consuming. Our church has two different services, but the announcement or pre-service loops are the same.

2. Is there a way to have two Proclaim programs running at the same time so that I can split the screen between two presentations so that I can see both at the same time instead of switching back and forth? For another example, I would like to use the theme from the previous year's service, but with the current announcements. However, it is difficult to ensure that we have the same announcement slides in each when copying from one presentation to another. Generally, I have to write down a short description of each slide to ensure that I haven't missed any.

Copying slides is actually really easy so here it is.

1. 'Ctrl + C' (PC) or 'Command + C' (Mac) and slides that you want.

2. Go to 'Open' and choose the other service that you want to copy the announcement, pre-service or any other slides into.

3. Click the slide that will be right before the first one that you're copying and hit 'Ctrl + V' (PC) or 'Command + V' (Mac) and it should copy them right in with no problem.

As for running two Proclaim presentations simultaneously, we've never done it. Hope the other info helps.

Thank you for your response. I actually knew about the Ctrl + C command. I was actually asking if you could copy more than one at a time. I think I figured it out, however. You have to hold the "shift" key down when selecting and then use the Ctrl + C command. You helped me get it accomplished.

You still have to open each presentation separately and cannot easily toggle between the two, but I can live with that.
