You can't, because Vyrso books don't normally offer subject tagging. edition:ebook will get you all the Vyrso books, and perhaps you could then more easily find and tag the fiction books. You might find community tags works for some of them, or even publisher if there are specific imprints for fiction (I've never bought any, so I don't know).
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Assuming you are referring to the Vyrso app (or any other Logos app for that matter) a quick solution would be to type:
ebook AND fiction
as your criteria in the library search box. This will simply look for any book that is an ebook edition and includes fiction in the metadata so you may get false hits, and miss some others that should be included.
A cleaner and more accurate approach would be to tag each fiction book you buy with the tag "fiction" (or whatever you choose) while using the desktop software - easiest way to identity the books to tag is to do this not long after downloading your new purchase and sorting library my last updated field, for older purchases use search term above to narrow down what needs tagging. Then when you are in the mobile app you can then filter the library using the following command:
mytag:fiction
If you wanted you could add additional tags such as "romance", "suspense" etc from the classifications on the vyrso web site and then be able to use a filter in your library like:
mytag:(fiction,suspense)
to help narrow down the type of fiction book you are looking to read.
When I have read a fiction book I go back and tag it "read". Then when I am looking for a new work of fiction to read for pleasure I can filter my library using the following
mytag:fiction ANDNOT mytag:read or mytag:(fiction,suspense) ANDNOT mytag:read

Just to add a bit to this:

I do exactly that - and, apparenly, a number of other users as well.
This means for Josh: for many of the Vyrso books, especially for the freebies that many users hoard in their libraries, you will see Community Tags in the library, which are the combined mytags of a number of other users. It seems that a large enough group of them tag Vyrso books with "vyrso" (I don't, since edition:e is probably much more reliable to single out all vyrso books), and you will typically find "fiction" for fictional books as well. I'm not sure if/when the community tags are up to par for Genre information (when one user tags "suspense", another "thriller", the next one "murder" and someone else "crime", they probably all miss the threshold to appear as community tags for others).
But you can drill down the Logos-provided sort tags (on the lefthandside on the vyrso website) into a section such as "romance" and then add "&unlocked=yes" behind the browser url, which will give you a list of romance titles you own and can then use to update your own tags in Logos. It's a pity that logos doesn't deliver this info into the library.

This is exactly what I do and it works very well.
Using adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say "yes" to God

um....thanks everyone but if my wife opens up VYRSO on my android phone app and wants to somehow find the books or even looks under Logos Android app...is there some easier method for her to find just the fictional books I got for her without her wading through my whole library.
I am mystified why Logos does not better tag these items but perhaps they do and I am dim or dull on it all...thanks.

Sad but you have to add the tag. If you search for tag:fiction in the desktop app it will show you the ones with what I believe are the community tags. You would think that because it's in the Fiction genre on the Vyrso website it would have a default tag of fiction already assigned. I know some people might not like this but it's easy enough to remove and I think more people would use that tag than remove it.

Peace, Josh!
*smile* Honestly, it's so simple! When you get a book, put your wife's name (or initials!) in the mytag area ...
She, then, to find it simply types in mytag:name ...
Here's a screenshot! My Beautiful Wifey of 52 years is Lorna! *smile*
Edit: Edited to share that I think she may not even have to type in mytag: ...... just her name .. will try it later today in one of my Logos apps ...................... Blessings!

If you go the "mytag" route she will only find resources you have tagged with "Lorna"
If your wife just types in "Lorna" she will find resources which have "Lorna" in the metadata anyway so may get some false hits

Peace, Graham! Right on! Good point! Very true indeed!
But, my Lorna is so unique that there ain't many of them around! *smile*
Blessings to you! You are absolutely thorough, Graham. ........... I praise God Who did such a splendid job on you, eh???!!!

Josh if you don't want to tag my initial suggestion is the easiest. Teach your wife to filter the library on Android app using:
ebook AND fiction
It is not perfect but Vyrso books are not built to be perfect - Logos simply convert the files as provided.p.s. I don't do android so assuming you can filter the library in this manner.

I don't think that works in the Vyrso app, whereas the mytag: solution works there

As Mick suggested the "edition:ebook" filter doesn't work in the Android apps whereas it does on iOS

For android users I hope that gets addressed very soon.
