What is going on with Center Church by Timothy Keller?
A certain other store has Center Church for $4.99 but when you search for it in Vyrso you get a bunch of "parts" ranging in price from $3-$20! I found the actual book (I think!) also at $4.99 https://vyrso.com/product/23794

No idea. That's really weird. Who would buy only one of the parts for $19.99 when you can get the whole thing for $4.99. Someone from Logos needs to look into this weird pricing. Any why are the individual parts for sale separately anyway? That's just strange.

For some strange reason it seems like many of the "Christian" publishers do this. Baker has "eBook shorts" which are just chapters out of some of their books. This is a Zondervan title. Thomas Nelson does it with John maxwell books.

No stranger than the pricing for most of the Sheffield/T&T Clark collections that get broken up...individual items often cost almost as much as whole collections. I think I've even seen singles cost more than a whole collection at times.
I think the idea behind the absurdity is just that...the absurd price differential, or lack thereof, makes it seem like getting the whole collection is a no-brainer.

Yes, those make a certain amount of sense as a "sampler" to give people the idea of the content of a longer book so they might eventually buy the full book. But producing 8 or so separate sections from a longer book as individual e-book shorts seems very odd.

I agree... but it is common. Check out John Maxwell in Vyrso.

Yes, the Maxwell chapters are ridiculous! It is hard enough browsing the Vyrso site without coming across 40 chapters of Maxwell. Oh and the 600 $0.99 cent romance novels. Is there a way to search and exclude a certain genre

I personally think some things got mixed up here. It seems a good idea (from a publisher's perspective at least, but I can imagine for some readers as well) to sell a number of parts from a successful 19.99 book for 2.99/4.99. That someone puts the large price tag on one of the parts doesn't seem right and should be corrected.
The other thing: look at the author metadata: the whole thing for 4.99 (thanks to this thread I just picked it up) is by "Timothy J. Keller", the smaller bits are by "Timothy Keller".
The parts should all clearly show that they are parts and link to the complete book - if Vyrso doesn't do it, we could by placing a review.
Have joy in the Lord!
