Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church
I've recently made a couple PBs for my use from online documents. Most recently the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church from:

The original document is Copyrighted: © Copyright 2005 - Libreria Editrice Vaticana
I think I would still be allowed to use the text from their publicly available site to make and use a Personal Book for myself, but I don't think I can post a public link to my version of their file. Perhaps I could email the file to anyone interested?
I created about 50 regular expressions to transform the online Vatican HTML into a nice Logos-ready document (headwords, orderly header tree, links to CCC, etc.). So I'm sure I could share these formulas/steps I wrote and you could use them yourself to make your own. So email me if you'd like either the recipe for transforming the HTML for Logos, or if you'd just like the docx (or HTML) I made.
Hopefully the regular expression cleanup I've done will also mostly apply to other Vatican documents. Next up will be Evangelii Gaudium...

My links to Logos CCC are functioning strangely though. Hovering over them shows the regular popup but it shows the reference twice. For example hovering over the ref to CCC 9 shows:

(Note that I get the same duplicate popup using both links and Logos syntax. And although for testing I have 2 syntax for both single and range, the error happens even if I only have 1 of any of the 4 as the document, so the existence of the other links isn't causing the issue.)

In docx for a PB you want to use format 1 with the link in URL format when you are intending to open the resource referred to (in Logos or on the web). It will look something like logosres:catcathchrch;ref=CCC.CCC_9
If you wish to dynamically include the text of Logos resources into the Compendium, there is different syntax.

Thanks M.J. Yes, that's what I think I'm doing. I'd used that URL button you indicated when first copying the format to use. But maybe it is how I'm embedding that URL in the document? With a simple example document just with this
[[9 >> logosres:catcathchrch;ref=CCC.CCC_9]]
(or with it as a link generated by this HTML: <a href="logosres:catcathchrch;ref=CCC.CCC_9">9</a>)
Either way the on-hover-popup text would show the reference twice.

You're doing it right. The double-showing in a pop-up is something we saw in other resources as well, don't know if you can do something about it.
I tested in the latest beta, and it shows double just as you see it. Alternative I tried a page reference, and this will work and show text only once in the popup, but who's citing the CCC's page numbers?

That's expected behaviour. One shows the exact resource you've linked to, the other shows your highest prioritized resource with that datatype (which in this case happens to be the same).
What you should do, is use a reference link instead of a resource link. For the CCC that ought to look something like this: [[9 >> CCC:CCC 9]]. This will let everyone see only their highest prioritized CCC.
Finding a datatype name and reference shows you how it's done.

Actually it's [[Catechism of the Catholic Church 9 >> logosref:CCC.CCC_9]] - the logosref part being decisive (ref for reference instead of res for resource)

In personal books both forms work, and I have used the short form, since I hate typing, and have typed too many of them by hand. But for reading lists, the longer form is the form that works, and so it may be wise to get in the habit of that.

Thanks, Ken. I've used the shorter form because that's the one Mark teaches in that link I gave. All I've ever done in RL's is add one or two lines, and then I've simply looked at the lines above and below to get it right, so I had no idea you needed a different looking link there.

Welcome to the Logos user forums! You'll find a lot of useful information on using Logos here, also an occasional heads-up on good deals, new resources, etc.
Typically if a forum user wants others to know their email address, they'll post it on their Faithlife profile page. Michael does not have his posted, but for future reference, you can see someone's profile by clicking on their name in the post. Then click About on the left navigation bar. Scroll down to see if there's a email listed under Contact Info.
Also note that clicking on the user's picture/avatar takes you to a page that lists their forum posts.
One last forum tip: the best way to search the forums is to Google: search subject site:community.logos.com
