Changing Default Settings & Backgrounds

Many other users have mentioned a concern regarding the loss of text formatting when changing backgrounds. I am writing this post because, although it's been mentioned before in several posts, many of us feel that the issue has not been addressed. The Proclaim development team has clearly worked very hard to resolve other issues and we're all thankful for that. The next change or update that we'd like to see is the ability to simply change a background without all of our text reverting back to a default setting that we have no control over.

Other requests for changes or updates seem to take well over a year and while many of us realize that the Proclaim team is working on things, things like this need to change 'yesterday'. Please consider giving this issue your absolute and immediate attention.

This is such huge issue, I am leading our church not to move to a yearly subscription for this reason alone. Overall the proclaim solution is very appealing, but this is such a production killer, it very may cause us to seek a different presentation solution. At this time, the only answer we have is to use PowerPoints and insert them, which somewhat defeats the whole purpose of collaboration from multiple sites, a key feature for small churches with team members working from home.

The beta version of Proclaim now preserves the formatting and text. You may want to give it a try. I shared in your frustration until I tried the beta and all is right in the world now. :-)
