Proclaim countdown timer is off by 15 or more hours

While attempting to use a countdown timer last night I noticed that the time was off by 15 hours or more. I have used the timer for Sunday AM services many times without any problem. Last night was the first evening service.

The slide in question was located in the announcement area and the main body of the presentation was set to start at 7:10 PM. I took the presentation online sometime between 6:45 and 7:00 PM and the timer should have indicated less than an hour. Instead it indicated 15 plus hours.

Here are the logs, but I did not receive any actual error messages from the Proclaim app.

I have tested this condition several times and it only seems to occur on the Mac. When I run the same test using a Windoze laptop the countdown timer works correctly.

Thank you for this investigation. I'm unable to reproduce on the Mac by setting my service time to an evening start time but there could be differences based on when the presentation was taken on air. What time was your evening service start time? What time did you go on air?

I can't explain how, and I have never known a program bug to correct itself, but the problem seems to have disappeared.

As I explained in my original post, when I first discovered this problem the service was scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM. When I went online between 6:45 and 7:00 PM the countdown timer was off by 15 or more hours. I have experienced this same problem on several other occasions using the Mac.

As I explained, this problem did not occur when I use a Windows laptop during the evening services. However, I ran another evening service last night using the Mac and the timer worked correctly. I can't explain why, since I have reproduced the error condition at least five times.

The service I was using last night contained music only; no pre-service or warm-up slides. The music service was scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM and I went online at 5:00. Since I did not have any pre-service slides setup, the system displayed our logo with an accurate count down timer.

Since this worked last night, I experimented this afternoon by modifying last nights presentation. I added some pre-service slides with the count down timer enabled. The countdown timer seems to be working fine now.

The real test will be Wednesday night when we use the timer to get screaming teen agers in their seats.

Everything went well. I used a timer in the presession loop and added a second to a content slide in the middle of the main service.
