Do you see a check mark next to the Bio field after editing? Try clicking outside of the text area. When the field loses focus, that is when it is saved.

No I don't see a check mark by the field. But my system is working faster because I have a SSD. I don't know if that is why I don't see it or something else.
It would be very nice if we could have an update button for the profile.
Ok I cleared all the information in the bio and I think that reset it.
