Unable to update the Faithlife Bio* ?

Lee,

Do you see a check mark next to the Bio field after editing? Try clicking outside of the text area. When the field loses focus, that is when it is saved.

No I don't see a check mark by the field. But my system is working faster because I have a SSD. I don't know if that is why I don't see it or something else.

It would be very nice if we could have an update button for the profile.

Ok I cleared all the information in the bio and I think that reset it.

Ok after waiting one day, I did edit the bio* and I saw the arrow that should mean it saved but what I have for my bio* still has not been changed.

can I get some help with this?

Lee, sorry you are frustrated with the Bio page, it is a royal pain in the (neck). [:(]

I have had problems with this page also, they need to add something as simple as "Save changes" or "Update to current settings". [Y]

I have found that when if make a change, then click somewhere out of the box I was editing, it will update (it will very briefly give you a check mark next to the text box)  

The only other thing I can think of,  is that some how you have the page saved to your internet browser and it needs to be deleted? A long shot I know!

We were unable to find an issue with saving fields in the Profile, Account Settings tab.

What browser are you using? Are you using any browser plugins?

Hello Patrick I use ie 11 & or Google Chrome. But most of the time ie 1, I don't use any plugins that i know of. I also don't know how to check or disable them if i do have any.

Are you referring to the system specs you have in your post signature? The "L4 Bible Study (LE), L5 Bronze ..." is your signature which can be changed at http://community.logos.com/user/EditProfile.aspx under Site Options.

Yes I am, I have changed that and updated but it does not change it in the system.

What I have tried to change it to is the following.

L4 Bible Study (LE), L5 Bronze, w\Minimal Crossgrade. Windows 7 Home Premium, Asus U31S, Intel Core i3 2.2GHz, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD.
Galaxy Tab 3 w/64GB SD.
Sky Vega IM-T100K.

It does show me the green arrow meaning that it updated but that is as far as it gets.

Why is this such a difficult thing to get updated?

I have even tried to update this with all plug ins blocked.

I am guessing that you are wondering why it doesn't update your forum signature? I don't know the answer to that but I will look into it.

So it looks like your forum signature can be changed at this link http://community.logos.com/user/EditProfile.aspx

Make sure you click the Site Options button at the top of the page, then you will see the signature field.

I can see that this is confusing since we say that your about info comes from your Faithlife bio... I will talk too someone about this to see if we can get it changed.
