User Interface Improvement - Faster Scrolling Timeline

Has anyone else noticed extremely slow scrolling in the timeline? I would like to use my mouse scroll wheel to speed-browse through the timeline since our worship leader jumps around occasionally. The timeline requires a LOT of scrolling and still moves very slowly even if I go crazy on the scroll wheel.

I tried adjusting mouse settings (Windows 8.1) but it doesn't seem to change anything. (My Mac users have laptops with multi-touch touchpads and they get along well with a two-finger horizontal scroll.) Also, it is unlikely to be a problem with my hardware since I have tried it on several PCs and they all scroll at slow speed.

Anyone have a fix for this? Otherwise, call this a user interface improvement request to the Proclaim development team.

Hello Clark,

I have not had any problems scrolling through the timeline, but I am investigating this as of now. In the meantime, a decent workaround would be to navigate the timeline by clicking and dragging the icon in the scroll bar. Once I have more information, I will give you an update.

Thanks for checking out the problem. I have been navigating the timeline using the scroll bar, but the button is very small and doesn't have very much contrast compared to the background (grey on black) so it can be hard to find in a hurry. A scroll wheel speed improvement would do wonders!

I've been having the same problem as Clark. Tried clicking and dragging scroll bar as Spencer suggested but it still lags and is slow.

What are the specs of the machine that the lag is occurring on?
