Can Logos make a chart of what books are new to us? like the regular package base?
I didn't get anything from sales about academic discounts either. No academic discount, no bundle for me.
I'm fairly sure the academic discount comes off automatically. Eg for me it looked like with academic pricing the package would be ~$1500 (same as regular Platinum) which came down to ~$800 with dynamic pricing. Agree with you that it still seems a bit much, but I think the issue is with dynamic pricing, not academic discount.
ie if you search for reformed platinum it will show you the academic price, and then if you click on it you will see the dynamic pricing on top of that.
Got the Reformed Platinum Bundle for $315.24, then deleted about $400 worth of prepubs and cps, then removed about $700 to $800 worth of products from my wishlist that came in this bundle. It's almost as if Logos Bible Software paid me to get this product. lol

So here's the deal with discounts on all base packages (both the generic and Reformed base packages).
There are two discount "tracks" that may apply: either 1) your role discount (e.g. academic or faculty role) or 2) dynamic pricing and any promotional discount. Whatever discount is greater, that's what you'll get. We are working to make sure all of that is displayed clearly on the product pages, but we will definitely give you the best possible price.

Thanks for all your hard work on this Christian. I will find it extremely helpful when a 'new to you' comparison is provided so that I can make an informed decision on a particular base package. (A couple of forum participants provided a very helpful chart comparing the packages themselves.)

There's been a lot of misunderstanding about this before (and many of us have been given incorrect info at different times). But I'm 99% sure that dynamic pricing is not considered a discount, and therefore IS given in addition to other discounts. However, you can't get academic discount in conjunction with sale or coupon discounts — in those cases you get the biggest discount, as Christian has said.

Many times I spoke to CS and they made me feel like as if my dynamic discount IS my discount, but in reality I've already paid for them. That's why I stop calling CS because of their attitude sometimes.
It'd be nice if the discount can stack (dynamic + academic), but I'm sure everyone wouldn't like that.

How can that level of service be beaten?I am in the academic program... He got me the reformed platinum package for 755, but alot of the discount was based upon books I already own. Dynamic And/Or academic discount brought it down to about 800, and the 15% discount to promote the new packages brought it down the rest of the way. Any way if in doubt, email Rusty!
