Ellen G. White Encyclopedia Push
I have a very good friend that I do Bible study with. She is an Adventist, so it is not uncommon for her to ask "I wonder what Ellen White thought about this". So, for the next couple of days I use Logos to search and dig up the answers from within her writings (I have the SDA Expanded Collection).
I bought my study partner a hard copy of The Ellen G. White Encyclopedia as a surprise birthday gift. It came in the mail a few days ago and I must say that this is a must have for anyone interested in Ellen White's writings and teachings. I really doubt if anyone will need to know something about every topic in the book but am guessing that if you have a question about Ellen White's thoughts or teachings it is in this book!
I just had to take the book out of its wrapper and take a gander and I am mightily impressed. A few things that we have studied came to mind and every topic that I had manually searched in Logos for was included in the topic section of this quick and easy to use reference book.
I would love to see The Ellen G. White Encyclopedia make it into production. It is listed as "Almost There!" So, if you are a Seventh Day Adventist, your Logos library will be incomplete without this resource! Are you like me and often study with an Adventist friend and a quick resource would come in handy? This is the book for you. Are you not connected with the Adventist denomination but curious about what Mrs. White taught on a vast array of topics? You can't go wrong with this. Don't rely on the internet to find your answers, find them with this non-biased resource.
Preorder now at the hard copy's preorder price. It is a good deal.

Good writeup Rick. Looking forward to getting it in Logos. Was going to get the paper version, until Logos said that they would be giving us the digital copy.

Great... I was about to buy it in print with the current sale that local ABC has ($45), but now that's it's in development, I can hold off for a few months.

I have the hard copy but look forward to the Logos edition as well. Nothing beats being able to look things up electronically.
