Question about long Bible Passages

There seems to be some sort of limit on long Bible Passages using just the traditional Bible Slides. This caught me off guard last year on Palm Sunday, and I see it still is an issue one year later. I'd like some clarification and guidance, please.

Our reading for the day is Matthew 27:11-66. When I enter this passage, only verses 11-60 appear. Why? Is there a limit to the number of verses, a limit to the number of slides? Last year, I had to cut to a blank screen because I didn't realize the entire passage was not there until it was too late. I see in advance that this continues to be a problem, do you have a solution or a workaround suggestion???

I can't answer directly about the limitations. We have a regular 'long bible reading' during one of our services so I have been caught by this myself.

The 'work round' is to break the reading at a pericope (or other suitable point) and just move from one on screen bible item to the next.

If you untick 'show book introduction' the animation only takes a couple of seconds to get you back on stream.

Thinking about it I would prefer a setting for a 'continuation reading' rather than being allowed to mistakenly start syncing half the bible up to logos servers.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not referring to the on screen Bible, but rather the older, traditional Bible Slides. But it's good to know the on screen Bible can't do it, either, so I won't be caught off guard again.

Just to confirm what you found out here, only 50 verses can be shown in a single Bible item.
