Its good to have both editions so that links work whichever source material is being addressed, I also doubt it has a material impact on the pricing.

You'd still get the second edition.

You may be right, but I would expect public domain elements of a package to have a much lower dynamic pricing impact than royalty generating items.

Sometime in the past in these forums, Logos gave us a rough description of how dynamic pricing worked. It didn't make distinctions among classes of books.
