The Sure Word of Prophecy: Sermons and Addresses on the Reformation and the Lutheran Church
I ran into this recently... It is a collection of Reformation Sermons published in 1908 by the Iowa Synod. Most of the sermons seem to me, at least to have been given to a Luther League gathering, or something like that. They are a celebration and also a demonstration of a pietistic view of Lutheran identity that while not mine, is probably an accurate reflection of the views of many Lutherans - then and now.
It was a quick read and fairly quick to form into a pb. Source was https://archive.org/details/surewordprophec00unkngoog which actually was taken from Google Books.

I've spent a short time perusing the document and it seems very positive and very pleasant .. looking forward to a really good study ...
To possibly assist others, here is the "cover" from that website: (I love the Olde English Script!)
Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........

Thanks Ken!
Great find.
(Actually I did the very same thing Milford did and right now wanted to post the cover page, just to find he already did so.)
