My church's database of songs is a mess. We have many duplicate songs and some are missing lyrics and such. I want to delete all the songs off the database and rebuild from scratch. Is there any way to do so? Thanks.

Can you provide an example of a song title that is duplicated? I'd like to take a look to make sure we don't have a bug which allows duplicates.
I am not talking about your database, I am talking about the songs that are stored on our account under My Songs. I want to be able to access all the songs in that section at the same time without having to search for each song. And when I say duplicates I mean of the same song and version but different lyrics like I have a few songs that are the same version but one has part of the lyrics taken out and the other does not.
Right, I understand. I was asking for an example song title so I could look to see how many near matches are in your groups "My Songs" database. Songs are to be unique by title for each group. Therefore, you cannot have two song's named "Amazing Grace" with different lyrics. If you wanted two versions you would need to name them uniquely (e.g. "Amazing Grace 1" and "Amazing Grace 2").
Sometimes users end up with very similarly named songs, distinct only by some spacing or a comma, and these appear to be dupes in the entry helper. In this case I would recommend using the right click option to remove the song.

This is not supported by the UI. I can have someone here do it for you.
Can you send a suggestions to add an option in a future update then? I think this is something that users should have control of.
Just to let you know that all our songs are gone and I never gave permission for you to do so. For future issues I suggest you don't delete someone's database unless they give you permission.
Matt, isn't that what you asked them to do? You clearly asked about doing it yourself and stated, "I want to delete all the songs off the database and rebuild from scratch." It's there in your original post. Now that it's done you want to complain? Isn't that what you wanted in the first place? I believe Scott and the team were just doing what you wanted done. Your third post on the same page says, "I want to clean "my songs" out and start building it up again from scratch. I understand they probably should have cleared it with you before, however, this achieved the goal you intended in the first place. Have a great evening!
My apologies, I must have misunderstood your request. The songs aren't truly gone, we can restore them if you wish. I'll follow up offline tomorrow.
No its fine. We are already rebuilding like we wanted. The whole point of the post was that I wanted to know how I can do this myself and since I can't I was hoping you guys can give us the control in the UI to do so in the future.

We are still transitioning completely to Proclaim but we went ahead and imported all the songs we had from Media Shout (regrettably). We don't use but 10% of them. Can we have our song library cleaned/wiped/deleted so we can continue our training without a few thousand song in there? Thanks.
