Is there a way to allow the osb to remain on the screen longer. I am normally able to change the amount of time (increase or decrease) other slides stay projected before advancing. I can see the *Show book introduction *Show version on first text slide but it will not let me scroll down to more options (if there are other options) Is this possible with osb? Can someone please enlighten me. Thanks
Un-tick or change timing. Change timing by clicking on the '3' to reveal drop down menu.
You are right - the box will not scroll so you will either have to
1. Make the whole panel bigger.
2. Temporarily reduce the size of the ribbon to allow this section to enlarge.
3. Switch monitors sot that the control screen is on the projector so that you can use a much bigger display area. (not recommended).
Below is a shot of my Laptop Desktop...
You can expand (or decrease) the size of the ribbon by dragging in the area of the oval.
You can expand (or decrease) the size of the panel by dragging in the area of the circle.
Both will affect the area that you can see in the OSB section.
For some reason the problem has returned. We are unable to see all of the options for the OSB (that Mike clearly shows in the screenshot above. Moved to a larger screen (23 inch and it is worse there than on my 15 inch laptop. I cannot make the ribbon any smaller to see all the OSB options. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Is this on a mac or Windows? Also what is the resolution when you are using the 23 inch screen?
Windows: 1600x900 on 23 inch
Hey Keith,
I just wanted to let you know that I was able to reproduce your issue and have created a bug report. A fix should be in the works soon.
Sorry Keith I sent the last reply out in a rush. At the resolution you described (1600x900) I was able to see all of the OSB item options. Could you post a screenshot of what your screen looks like?
One thing I notice immediately is that you have a whole extra bar the same height as the Pre-Service Loop marker that I don't have on my screen. I bet this is causing the bottom options to not show.
Any idea about why I have that extra bar? Also, I see it (what you are talking about) when I look at the screen shot Mike posted above. Thanks for your reply Josh.
I went back and checked. That's actually the new formatting bar for content slides and so forth and it does show up on my screen when I'm on a content slide or song lyrics slide. However, it disappears when I click on "On Screen Bible." However, it does so only on my Mac (and that's what Mike uses as well). As for my Windows machines, it it still there, but I can see all the options at the bottom of the screen, unlike you. Interesting.
You said you were running 1600x900 on the 23 inch monitor. Do you have the DPI percentage increased to make things bigger on the screen? I wonder if that could be causing it.
Thanks Josh!! Changed the DPI. That solved it.
Great! Glad you got it fixed. :-)
