Please remember that The Clear Word is not a Bible translation nor even a paraphrase--note the 1st words of the product description. We must not confuse this one-person's devotional commentary with the actual sacred words of Scripture.

I agree Martin. I wish the Clear Word would have never been released. It has caused so much trouble for our church. Especially because it originally had the word Bible on the cover. Many non-Adventists accuse us of having our own Bible because of this. I think it's done a lot more damage than good.

Thank you, John, for your important caution. Twenty years go, I worked for the GC Ministerial Association when The Clear Word was released. We worked hard to get it clarified that this is NOT a Bible. Others worked for this as well, including I believe the author himself. And so the unfortunate word "Bible" was removed. And so in this Logos release I am exceedingly careful to ensure that this is not a Bible translation or a study Bible or even a paraphrase but rather one person's devotional commentary. (A note: the Logos "ecosystem" is a library of 42,000 books; it's not a recommended reading list but a resource base. The same is true for books in the Logos SDA library, some of whom I do not personally recommend but must include for the sake of providing a wide-ranging library.)
