How can I identify books as having been read?

I just downloaded Vyrso and I start out with 83 books.  2 of them I know I already read using FaithLife.  One partially read in Faithlife app.

I just give them a tag "read", but I do so in the Desktop program Logos, I do not know if you can tag resources in the vyrso app

you can't currently tag resources in the Vyrso (or any of the Logos mobile) app

Hi Tom - and welcome to the forums

How can I identify books as having been read?

Just to clarify the above comments.

Many of us use "tagging" to annotate our resources including indicating whether we have read them or not.

This can be done in Logos 5 (the desktop application) and this information is then synchronised to the mobile apps (such as Vyrso).

Outside of that there is no way of tagging them

But in the library in the mobile apps there is a visual indicator (right of display) of how far through the resource you are. Does this help at all?

    Yes, this helps

I do not have the Desktop version.

I see in the FaithLife App there is a progress bar.  Unfortunately, in Faithlife, the FEATURE of having 2 panes, is a pain if you are using a phone and are trying to read as if it were a book.  It makes for a very small space to read.

I did see in a video, what appeared to be the Faithlife app for IOS which has a view setting to only use one pane.  So, there is hope for that feature to get to Android sooner or later.

I just downloaded Vyrso this morning and here I have a single pane.  So one problem solved.  i can read while on the treadmill.  But there is no progress bar over here like there is in Faithlife.  I just looked at History and it showed the books I had opened.

    I will work something out.

I can track part of this with the favorites, perhaps.

I hadn't realised you were using Android.

On my Android phone I don't get an indicator status - as you mention - but I do on my iPad.

I wonder if this is an iOS / Android issue or a tablet / phone issue.

Can someone with an Android tablet check whether there is an indicator status in the Vyrso library panel?

    Thanks, Graham

I also have an Android tablet.  12", so I am not going to be reading it while on the treadmill.  Although, if I am trying to get in shape, I suppose....

I looked and there are more indicators in the tablet version of Vyrso.  There is an indicator as to how long it has been since I opened that particular book.  That would fill the bill nicely enough.

Thank you all for your prompt input.

Hey Tom! Welcome to the forums. [:)]

Just a suggestion: If you have platform or mobile app specific questions, it is best to post in the iOS or Android sub forums. In those forums, you can get help specific to your platform, including learning about the various features and differences between apps. If you have questions about the Vyrso store or resources, this is the best place. [:)]
