Custom Commentaries in Passage Guide

I love the flexibility and power of customizing the Passage Guide. Now more than ever with so many commentaries at our fingertips, subdividing these resources is essential to good study. I break my commentaries down into 3 main categories using "My Tags"

-Expository

-Exegetical

-Homiletical

I then create a Custom PG that allows me to search my Commentaries based on my Tagging scheme. However, instead of getting a list of versified results (as in the default Commentary window) --- see one link for each commentary that goes to the relevant location ---

I get a list of search results in each commentary. --this is a completely useless list of every time the passage appears in the commentary ---

My suggestion is simply this. Allow us to create Custom Commentary sections in our Passage Guides that give versified results.

Any chance this could happen? Anyone else want to see this functionality?

Logos4 Windows 4.0a Beta allows user Collections in the Commentaries section and Mark's reference is to a request for multiple such Commentaries sections.

This is a request for functionality in all of Logos. Yes, you can add multiple Commentaries sections using Collections in the guide, but that only does a basic search within the guide, which brings up hundreds of results, not the same as what a trues Commentaries section does. What Joe really wants, I think, is a section containing a link for each commentary in a given collection pointing to where that commentary discusses that scripture reference.

I give this request a +1 if I haven't already in some other thread. In which case it gets a +2 from me.

You misunderstand - 4.0a allows a collection to be specified within the (true) Commentaries section but it doesn't go far enough as only one Commentaries section is allowed. I'm not talking about the Collections section.

Then, Let me say, "Thank you, Logos", and I won't even gripe that I can only select one collection at a time (at least, I won't complain for at least a day [8-|])
