Until some of the recent updates, this problem had been fixed, but now it's doing it on both Mac and PC. Before you ask, yes I've done all updates and verified the OS on each system. Please fix this ASAP. Thanks.
I agree, I was just about to post the same thing. It was a relief when the problem of the font settings resetting to default every time I changed a background was fixed a few months ago. With this latest update the problem seems to be back. Please please fix this problem again, it is a significant workflow challenge. Thank you.

As long as you make sure to uncheck the 'Use Smart Media styles' option, your customizations will stay in place when changing a background using the media browser. Follow this workflow and you should not have a problem:
At this point, the media browser should look similar to this screenshot (red arrow points to the option you need to disable):
Now, if you click 'Apply to current item', the background will be applied but your changes will stay intact.
Well thanks for the note about this. However, now it's extra steps that we all have to take that we didn't have deal with before the recent updates. Why has the programming team decided to make a change that requires us all to deal with this?

Thanks for looking into it. Thanks also for all of the great things that Proclaim allows us to do. I know that it's tough writing software, web-based no less, and trying to create and maintain a product for multiple users on varied platforms. Keep up the great work!
