Proclaim Works for us

RE: Proclaim Frustrations: Could someone please post that Proclaim works for them.

If I was thinking of getting Proclaim and I was reading all the posts on Proclaim I would think that it did not work at all.

So will someone post some positive proclaim results. Thanks

We have been using Proclaim for over a year and have not had any problems. Windows 8.1 with I7 and 16 gb ram.

For the most part, people only post when there are issues. There are some thought that are gracious enough to post when they are happy with the software.

We've been using Proclaim since the early part of this year and I can assure you, it's a really nice piece of software. Our church has two screens for the audience,one for the stage, and one monitor we use for the deaf & blind guests that we have who need see the signlanguage no more than a few feet from them. We are also using Desktop Presenter and Wirecast, which allows us to send the Proclaim presentation to another computer that we use to stream our services. It's a pretty crazy setup we have and Proclaim works great!

If it helps for comparing 'number of happy users to number of problems', I can tell you that around two thousand churches use Proclaim every week.

Hopefully when prospective users who have seen all of the 'it does not do' posts search for 'Proclaim' they will find this thread and give Proclaim a try.

I have used ProPresenter, MediaShout, and EasyWorship before switching to Proclaim.

I love the software and I have recommended it highly to others. Our senior pastor is absolutely sold on it, the fact that he can log in on his own computer and generate scripture slides in minutes saves him hours ever week. We have four different worship leaders that rotate out, and they all can log in from home on Saturday and load up the songs they are using for the next day in the order they want with the lyrics they want in a matter of minutes. We also have a group of people that are on schedule to run the computer in the back. They are not the most tech-savvy, but they really enjoy it and have no problem using it.

We run it on both a Mac mini and a number of Apple and Windows laptops. Our college group sometimes has a service on the local university's campus, and it is so nice to be able to use any available laptop to log in and present from. It has been plenty stable for us. We are coming up on a year of use.

Give it a try! And even if you still aren't sure, pay the month-to-month pricing. If you like it, purchase a year to save money. If you don't, just stop using it!
