Best of Luther?
I own Luther's works and I want to spend the next year reading some of his best stuff. Would anyone who reads Luther often care to list out what are in your opinion his best works in order starting with best? I read really slow, so I can probably only manage a few really long works or several of his shorter. Please post a few of his works if you can.
Thanks a lot!

His commentary on Galatians and On Christian Liberty are some good things of Luther to start with. I am not sure of their volume location since I do not own it. Luther's Large Catechism would also likely be a great thing to read to get a good feel for the great reformer.

I'm reading from the beginning, getting through each volume in about 6 weeks - currently almost through Volume 5...
The first 7 volumes are all on Genesis, and are chronologically quite late (as in Luther wrote them closer to the end).
I am using the reading plan to read about 10 to 12 pages every week day.
As for the "best stuff" - you are probably better off looking at some of the standalone books rather than Works. Though why not consider just slowly going through them

Luther made some comments that his best were his catechisms (In the Book of Concord, but not Luther's Works) and On the Bondage of the Will.
Of course, his great exegetical work is his later Commentary on Galatians, which also continues into the next volume.
His Heidelberg Disputation was written to explain what he was up to to his fellow monks...
The three treatises from 1520 are all important: The Freedom of a Christian, To the German Nobility, and Babylonian Captivity.
Then there are some devotional classics: A Simple Way to Pray and Comfort for Women who have had a Miscarriage.
On the Councils and the Church
Confession Concerning Christ's Supper
That should get you started...
