EGW Writings Scriptural Index vs. Supplemental Version?
Does anyone know what the difference is between the "Ellen White Writings Scriptural Index" and the "Ellen White Writings Supplemental Scriptural Index?"
I cannot find any information about the difference between these two resources. The "info/about" section seems to be blank on both resources, and there is no introduction or preface to either books.
Perhaps someone can enlighten me? Thanks in advance!

Short answer. The supplement adds additional material to what is in the Scriptural index.
Mission: To serve God as He desires.

Thank you for the comparison, Lynden. I've noticed that there are different EGW Quotes listed under each Bible passage between the two resources.
It makes me wonder, why are they split into two resources? Why are they not combined into one resource? Was one resource compiled after the other? If studying EGW's comments on a certain passage, does one need to check both resources to get the thorough list? It seems like an extra step that shouldn't be necessary. Are the supplemental quotes less significant perhaps or less relevant?
I was just wondering if anyone knew of an explanation as to why it is this way? Thanks again in advance for any insights that may be shared.

Since the digital came from the print, it seems as if they published one and then later on the other. The supplemental index has a date of 2012 and the other one 2003.
Mission: To serve God as He desires.

Ahh, I see. That makes sense. I did not notice those dates. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hello Tim,
What you can do is have both open in a side pane and link the sets to your scripture passages. Each time you scroll they will scroll together with your text. You may have already found this out.
