My church has just started testing out Proclaim. When we tested everything at my house, it worked beautifully. I was able to pull up the Logos app on my Android phone and receive signals that were pushed as we went through the presentation. However, when we tested it out at church (we meet in the auditorium of a local school), we cannot get the broadcasting part to work. The phone app doesn't recognize any signals or even that the presentation is running.
Luckily, I am a network engineer for the school district, so I have access to all of the school's wireless networks and filtering. I tried making sure the computer running the presentation and my phone were connected to the same wireless that has full rights. I even put logos.com into our global whitelist as a precaution. I also made sure the location was set for the school, not my house. Is there anything else that would need to be set to on the network to allow the broadcasts to get sent to my phone from the presentation?
As a side note, I did check the logs on the computer. I was getting the following errors:
Error handling response (GET https://clientservices.logos.com/update/v1/feed/proclaim/stable.xml).
System.Net.WebException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'clientservices.logos.com'
--AND--
Error handling response (PUT https://proclaimservices.logos.com/v1/onair/86819b245a6549c3ab49648acb00fe94).
System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: The request was canceled.
After I added logos.com to the global whitelist, I didn't see these errors appear in the log anymore. Now the presentation runs without putting any more errors in the logs, even though the broadcasts still don't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
