I love using the "cited by" feature in Logos to see where a verse I'm studying is quoted by authors in a particular collection. I can glance at the results and then hover over a given result to see what the author says about the verse in the popup window. It's a great tool!
However, often, in any given resource, the verse citation is quoted at the very end of a sentence. Unfortunately the popup window only shows from the citation forward. So if the citation is at the end of a sentence in any given resource, you're unable to see what the author said about the verse cited because the window doesn't show what's prior to the citation. If you're curious what the author said you must open the resource.
This wouldn't be a big deal if it didn't happen so frequently. Lots of the search results for a verse in the cited by tool are cited at the end of a sentence. This requires you to open a good chunk of the results listed.
In light of all this, I think it would be helpful if Logos changed the popup windows to show 15 words or so before the citation, so that the author's line of thought on it can be seen in the popup window instead of having to open the resource.
Would this be helpful to anyone else?
