Using remote without internet connection

Does anyone know if I can use an Airport Extreme base station to set up a local WLAN in our sanctuary so I can use the Proclaim remote without needing internet access, as we have none in our rented church building. I need to know tonight, as I am trying the presentation tomorrow morning for the first time!

Unfortunately this isn't possible. We have future plans for allowing local wifi control. Some churches in this situation fall back to using a wireless presenter which works well.

What is a Wireless presenter? A Bluetooth 'clicker'? I can use my Apple mouse.

Or indeed, with the right app, your Apple Remote.
