Issues with Powerpoint to Proclaim

I am having an issue when it comes to proclaim importing Powerpoint to its program. Some times the powerpoint is only displayed in a smaller version of the Screen (everyone is on it, just not Full screen like it would show on powerpoint). This isn't an issue across the board with us here, but its still an issue. Has anyone ran into this? Is there a preferred format for importing power points so that they will be full screen? Also, If we have in slide transitions (points individually coming up within one slide) are these able to be used?
Appreciate it everyone!

I have not run into this issue. Does this happen on Windows or Mac? Which OS Version? If you could provide the Powerpoint presentation I could try and reproduce your issue. Importing powerpoints does have a few known issues (due to the third party software used) but this is one I have not heard of or experienced myself.

A common workaround is to export the Powerpoint slides from Power Point as jpg files, then importing those files into Proclaim and using them in an image slideshow.

If you are running Proclaim on a Windows machine, then you can use the 'Transfer Control to Powerpoint' option. This will keep all transitions since it transfers on air control to Power Point. That being said, Power Point and the Powerpoint Presentation must be on the presenting computer for this option to work.

We are running off of a Windows computer (8.1) and the Powerpoints could be coming from PC or Macs. I have attached 2 PP to this. The first one is one that does not show full screen, in that it has black strips on the sides of it. The second one if one that was created on my Mac through powerpoint and while it may be full screen, the individual slide transitions are not present like they would be in powerpoint .
It seems like there is an issue with uploading these powerpoints. Is there an email i can send them to?

Since you are using a Windows machine to present, I would try the 'Transfer Control to Powerpoint' option and see if this works for you. It will preserve all formatting done in Powerpoint.

I will follow up w/ you offline.

Hi Spencer,
I'm unsure if this thread is still open but let me try:
I've been on board since Procliam started here in the UK, so I'm used to the roller coaster of techie snags.! Thank you for your perseverance and the constant flow of advancements, which are good. But, I urge you to really flex improvements across all platforms, before releasing them as updates.
The issue of importing Power Point / Keynote WITH all animations that can be seamlessly controlled from within Proclaim should have been settled by now. I suggest that as Mac is the leader in presentation kit, so it's too bad that we still can't control PP let alone KN presentations from within Proclaim. I'm under increasing pressure from Church members to jump ship to one of your competitors because of this issue. Yet we've come a long way and I don't give in easily! However I am asking a lot of others who do not have the same sense of loyalty.
Come on Spencer. Please a solution that works, is stable and easy to operate.
Thank you

Hello Peter,
Proclaim does support controlling a PowerPoint presentation from within Proclaim on Windows. We have recently added the ability to import a Keynote presentation (on Mac) as images. We'll be looking into supporting complete Keynote presentation control soon.
Thanks for the feedback!

This seems like an issue from 10 years ago, has anything been done towards allowing mac users to run presentations with Keynote taking control?
