Could you clarify Logos's (sorry, Faithlife's) position when it finds that a certain title "doesn't have a digital edition yet"? Does that mean Logos will have to wait passively until the publisher decides to do a digital edition, or does Logos (Faithlife) view that as an opportunity to produce the first digital edition and work with the publisher to make that happen?

We're always working with our publishing partners to find interesting digital-first projects we can work on together. That being said, I can't speak to Faithlife's specific agenda on these particular titles.

Faithlife certainly would NEVER have a title in Vyrso where the publisher didn't provide the eBook files!

Word order matters. I don't mean digital first, I mean Logos being the first digital edition, before Kindle (when a print edition already exists).
But Alabama has answered my question. Of course there would be no financial incentive for Logos to do that with Vyrso titles, because the margin is already so low.

In this instance, my reference to digital-first projects and being the first to release digital editions meant the same thing. We're always talking with publishers to develop partnerships where we can be the first to market!

I'm not sure if NEVER is always applicable; my dad always taught me to, "never say never." But I would say it is highly unlikely that Vyrso would put the resources into developing editions on our end. [:D]
