Is the device you are trying to view them on connected to the web?

Anyone else having problems with viewing the videos once Logos 6 was installed?I am not able to reproduce this
What operating system are you using? Are you running the minimum system requirements for Logos 6? Logos 6 requires Windows 7 SP1 or Mac OS X 10.9, or later.
I am running OS Yosemite X on a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012), 2 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB, 500 GB SSD storage (APPLE SSD SM512E), with 61.18 GB available.
The QuickStart for Logos Bible Software v.6 videos are not playing.
Same here. 2013 MBA, Logos 6, Yosemite OS
I am using the latest MacBook Pro, with Yosemite ... I can't get the Quickstart videos to play either.
I am also not able to play them from the Library. The length of the video shows as 00:00, and when I click it the spinning wheel shows for a time and then stops but the video won't play and still shows a zero duration. I am also on Yosemite on a mid-2013 Macbook Pro. I've put in a screenshot below, but unfortunately I couldn't capture the spinning wheel as it stopped before I was able to switch to Grab!
Running Logos 6 Platinum and Logos Now on Surface Pro 4, 8 GB RAM, 256GB SSD, i5
I see a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the upper right of your screen. If you hover over it, what does it say is happening?
If Logos is still indexing, you may just need to wait until it's done.

Logos was indexing when I took the screen shot. But the problems with the videos not playing exist even when indexing is done and all items are synchronized and up to date.

This.
Not sure what to suggest, but here are two things to try: 1)Exit and restart Logos; 2)If that doesn't fix it, shut down and restart your Mac.
If that doesn't do it, you may need to get a hold of tech support.

We are still having trouble reproducing this and would appreciate if you tried one more thing. If you open the panel menu (click on the resource cover on the top left) and choose 'Download all media'. Then after 10-15 minutes try playing again.
Todd, this seems like it could be a codec issue. Does does Logos check to see if codecs are installed properly and up to date, when it installs? If not, might you suggest how users could check or update their codecs?

Mark,
Have you tried to delete media from resource tab and download media again?
I'll try that and report back in about an hour. Thank you (and everyone else) for your efforts to resolve this!
Well, I've returned from a refreshing two-mile walk, enjoying the fragrant honeysuckle aroma in the Florida night air.
Assuming the media downloaded, I tried again to view the QuickStart videos. Sadly, no success.
BTW, in the resource panel for the QuickStart Videos I see the option to "Cancel Media Download" is available. That makes me wonder if the download might still be taking place (after 40 minutes?). But there is no other indication that the media is still downloading.
Todd,
I've gone through my videos and found that if the slider bar is in this position, videos will work. If it is farther to the right it will not
Weird. I only had a few minutes, but I played around with this setting and it seemed to have an impact. Only had time to try one. But it worked.

Eureka! Despite trying earlier what Lewis suggested, without success, I tried it again and it worked! Not only does the QuickStart videos now play, but also the Logos Tips videos that I had with Logos 5.
But the letter size settings in the resource panel has to be on the third setting from the left. Why, I do not understand; I can only say: "Curiouser and curiouser..."
Again, thanks to all who have worked on helping me and others with this!

I'm not one of the Mac developers, but that's very interesting. That position happens to be the default scaling size. I wonder if this is related to some of the other scaling problems that are being investigated. I suspect this will help find the problem. Thanks for letting us know.
