How many Luther Bibel (1545) exist?
I do own a Luther Bible (1545) from a Portuguese (Brazilian Bible Society) Product CD (LLS 1.0.3018). But Logos.com shows Luther Bibel (1545) as if I didn't own this version. Are there more than one versions?

Ah! --- That's the reason I don't own the Logos.com Compubiblia Professional either. I purchased the CD, if I remember right, some years ago in Bogotá with the Bible Society Bookstore. At least Dynamic pricing should work for the other resources included in this Bundle.

I don't know your answers, but there are three Luther Bibel resources in the current catalog:

But based on the comments, the 1984 edition from Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft seems to be the preferred one.

This is a sore spot with me because I have brought it up to customer service and sent an email a couple years back and it STILL has not been fixed.

Save your money and do NOT buy the Luther 1545 Bible, because it is NOT the real Biblical Germanica of 1545.

I use the "My Bible" version all the time. I like that the footnote and references are included.
LOGOS - PLEASE STOP SELLING THE FAKE 1545 LUTHER BIBLE!!!
(Yes, the caps are meant to be very loud pleading - not necessarily very loud yelling. Although, I am still very much annoyed that after repeated reminders nothing has changed.)
BTW - I have access to a facsimile copy of the real Biblia Germanica of 1545 (Luther's 1545 Bible). This is how I know the Logos version is wrong.

I agree with you that it does seem to be dubiously named, but this is how the Bible is commonly known (as inaccurate as it may be).
Any suggestions on some disclaimers or other ways to at least explain this on the product page? Some authoritative sources online for background info? I'd love to at least make the product page for this Bible more accurate for the sake of our customers.

Dear Gabe,
Logos made a first big step in the right direction by dropping the sub title "unrevised."
If I ran Logos, this would be my plan of actions:
1) In the description, state that this Bible is a 19th Century revision on the 1545 Biblia Germanica. To purchase the the actual 1545 Luther Bible (the Biblia Germanica of 1545) follow this link. And then . . .
2) Actually have the Biblia Germanica for sale! There is obviously an electronics version of it that Logos could use as a base (see my above post where they can be accessed). I am of the opinion that almost everyone who bought the Logos version of the 1545 Bible thought they were getting the original Luther Bible of 1545, and that there are still others (like me) who would gladly to buy the actual Biblia Germanica of 1545 in the Logos format - provided that you include Luther's wonderful marginal notes).
At least offer it on prep to see what happens.
These are my suggestions.
BTW - The addition of the "Johannine Comma" is not the only difference between this Bible and the real Biblia Germanica. Luther's unique translation of Genesis 4:1 is missing as well as other unique textual and translational decisions Luther made, but early subsequent revisions changed. The marginal notes are a gold mine in seeing Luther's understanding of the text. For those who speak german, the actual Biblia Germanica gives great insight into Luther's theology and understanding to Scripture. It is a great reference tool for me when doing my exegesis.

There should appear 4 (four)! Because obviously, I own the one that the Brazilian Bible Society (Sociedades Bíblicas Brasileiras - SBB) offers on Logos.com (https://www.logos.com/product/32509/colecao-de-biblias), and which I bought some time ago included in a CD (Biblioteca Digital da Biblia). I also do own the Luther 1984 via German Bible Society Bundle (SESB 3).

The problem I see is that I (and others) would have to buy another version of the possibly same "false" or revised Luther 1554 if I bought Luther Platinum, because I own "another" possibly "false" Edition offered by another Publisher. OK - that's only 11 Euros, but...
An updated version with Luther's footnotes would be quite interesting, and not that complicated to create. And THAT version would really be worth included in the Lutheran Platinum Package. Thanks Michael for your suggestions! and, thanks Gabe for the positive answer!
