Library entry not updating when changing tags / ratings

Using 6.0a beta 1 on Windows 8.1
As per the screenshot below I changed the rating and added a tag "Shelf-Fiction" to "Operation Zulu Redemption" (the "ToRead" tag has been there for some time) and the main Library screen is not updated.
It isn't specific to this one resource but is a general issue.
Closing and opening the Library window forced a refresh

Just flagging that this is still an issue in 6.0a RC1. Is this expected to be fixed before 6.0a ships?

We have an active case for this issue, and so the fix will not be in 6.0a. [:(] I've updated the case with a link to this thread, we'll reply once the issue is fixed.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but this sounds like a rather serious bug at a time when so many people are upgrading, and therefore adding loads of tags.
I guess I should download and tag as much as possible in L5 before I switch to the L6 engine.

FWIW. I have been having the opposite problem. The library is updating, after 10 or 20 seconds ... and not respecting that in the mean time I am adding a new tag. It simply takes the partially completed tag .
It can be a real pain when it does refresh and you are tagging ... a simple 'refresh now' button might solve both problems?

Seems this release will be rather bug-infested with all the bugs that are saved for a later release.

See Bradley's reply here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/96425/664325.aspx#664325. 6.0a is a net improvement, and fixes several large issues users of 6.0 have been having.

An extra click after every single tag or rating? No, thanks!!!
Your bug should be fixed, but not by destroying something else.

Agreed.
I think that the fields visible in the library should be updated immediately, as soon as tags are created. It is when the library subsequently re-filters or re=paints itself that it does not respect what the user is doing.
I would suggest a toggle that turns off the re-filter so that the data matches your actions but you can optionally select when the list of resources, and their order, changes.
If I was also adding to a similar thing ... the ability to click on an existing tag in the info pane and change the filter ... disable that .. or give us an undo so that we can return to the complex filter that we had before.
