Companion to the Catechism
Companion to the Catechism of the Catholic Church: A Compendium of Texts Referred to in the Catechism of the Catholic Church Including an Addendum
This has been suggested before but has been mentioned in long list of books needed.
It is time that it got its own thread.

Not that I'd mind seeing this book added, but doesn't Logos pretty much take the place of this resource as we can click on any footnote to be taken to the primary source?
Though, I suppose, it would make it convenient to read side-by-side with the Catechism. It would eliminate the need to keep hovering over every footnote. That would be nice.

There are a number of references to resources that are not available in Verbum. For the remainder, it depends upon the users library what references are "live". But in an ideal Verbum world, it would not be necessary.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Good point. I think it says my library has ~95% of the citations in the CCC that link to the original source. So I am missing 5%. [:)]

Yes, I might be able to find 95% in my Desk or Lap top Version of the Logos program [as Average Joe reported] but the Companion would fit on my Tablet.

I was just thinking the other day how useful this would be in Logos.
Would certainly buy it!
