shortening a countdown slide

I would like to insert a countdown slide into the warm up section, other software allows you to set an insert time to shorten the countdown slide, How can I shorten the warm up time or shorten a five minute countdown to a couple of minutes

It seems to me that there are two types of countdown slide

Those that are videos - which would require us to be able to start the video part way through.
Those that are 'ordinary' slides with the inbuilt countdown timer added. These can be set to any time using the Auto Advance setting.
The trouble with these is that the countdown timer is not customisable in other respects.

I agree that both need some attention.

Unfortunately that's not currently supported. We do have 1 and 3 minute countdowns in the Pro Media collection. You can find them by searching '1 min' or '3 min' in the media browser.

I'm running into the same issue, there are some countdown videos I'd like to use but can't due to their length. Will you be putting this capability on the list for a future software release?
